OXFORD UNIVERSITY PRESS BOOKS TO REWARD YOUR MOST DEDICATED STUDENTS
Dear Lecturer
Do you have students who have excelled? Do you want to honour your top students in recognition of their achievements? Apply for a prestigious Oxford Book Prize for your deserving students.
Applications are carefully evaluated and a limited number of OUP Book Prizes will be approved each year. Book Prizes
are approved at the discretion of Oxford University Press Southern Africa, and while we endeavor to support as many
requests as we can, it may be necessary to limit our selection of prizes for the year.

FAQ’s
How do we choose our winner?
For all of the departmental prizes, winners are chosen entirely at the discretion of the individual institution.
Students
in any year of study are eligible.
What will our winning student/s receive?
When you inform us of the name of the winning student, we will write to them enclosing a certificate, and a copy our
catalogue along with a letter of congratulations explaining how they can claim their prize. The books will be
dispatched to them (or to the university if you would prefer to formally present the prize books).
Is there a deadline for nominations?
Each prize is only awarded to each institution once annually, but your department is free to choose at which point
in the academic year you make your nomination.
