This story is about a ten year old girl named Simone Wibberley. The book is divided into three parts: her letters, her diary and her e-mails.
In her letters she writes manly to Jem Cakebread, an actor. He becomes very important to her because she trusts him and confides in him often about all her family problems. In her diary she signs up to take part in a survey about how children make the transition from junior to high school.
In her e-mails she e-mails a boy, named Anthony. He is an obnoxious boy in her class who is in hospitable because of a ruptured appendix. She soon realizes that there is more to him than she first realised.
I really enjoyed this book as it was a light read. It is suitable for girls of any age. I liked the way the book was presented. For example, the letters were signed, not typed, e-mails had subject lines and the websites looked realistic.
