This is an incredibly funny poetry book. I really enjoyed reading these poems as they are all about everyday happenings at school and most children would agree that their feelings are the same.
Some of the best poems for me are Back to School Blues, Let That Be a Lesson and Teachers, I Don’t Understand Them. I would definitely recommend the book for children who love poetry yet don’t really think that school is cool. Excuses, Excuses is the perfect name for this funny book. Excuses is all you get out of these poems, besides the joy and laughter.
