Hanne: I think her character was strong and passionate. She always stayed positive, even in the bad situations, she would be brave. The part I like about her best is that she would never just destroy anything. She would always speak before acting. When the Maestro was in danger she actually saved him even though she never liked him.

Jack: His character is that of a funny boy. I like his phrase “holy moses”. He appeared to be brave but on the Dreamboat we saw how he became scared. The part where they escaped from the Sea Wolf was brilliant. He was not scared at all.

Ned: His character was that of a boy who just wanted to be rich. I like the fact that they made him search his way through in the dark. Ned is not very smart and could not stand up alone against the Sea Wolf.

Nina: Her character was that of a healer and helper to Hanne out on the Dreamboat. It was thought that the Maestro was her brother, but I don’t think that he is. I found it sad that everyone called her a “fat lady”.

Maestro: His character started out as a powerful dark man who was feared by all. Later as the story developed his character began changing and he started to become like one of the good guys. I enjoyed reading the part where he became the Commando.

This was an enjoyable adventure story, which I really enjoyed.

I would recommend this book to anyone between the ages of 10 -14 years old. A really good book.
