The annual SAIMS (South African Institute for Management Scientists) Conference took place at the Sandton Convention Centre in September 2007.

Oxford University Press hosted a dynamic and informative panel discussion, addressing the topic "Do Higher Education institutions in SA equip business students for the real business world?" This complimented the theme of the SAIMS conference (“Future Business Leadership Challenges”)

The following panel members were led by host Ruda Landman:
