Oxford University Press awarded dictionary prizes to participants and winners for the 200m, 400m and 800m events for Under 12 swimmers from various schools in and around Cape Town.

The event took place at Silvermine Dam on 8 March 2008 and saw 70 aspiring swimmers participate.

Proceeds from the event helped raise funds to build Splash SA’s new indoor swimming pool in Wynberg.
